I call shenanigans. Not only did he misquote…it’s uncategorically unfair to chastise someone for saying something that has entered military and corporate lexicon as idiom.

It is thoroughly annoying to me that the intarweb blogodears has latched on to this stupidity with all the liberal froth it can muster. It only makes us look like idiots who hate history, military and the South. Yes. The South.

Shame on you Steve. Shame on you!

Well, I certainly hate the Confederacy and the Ku Klux Klan.

Also, what the cock is a “blogodear?”

I get it. Like when your grandma says “Oh dear” when hearing about someone getting arrested on the news. This is the 21st century version of that I suppose.

    Graham got it.

As in “Oh dear! Did that man just quote the klan!? My goodness. I must tell the bridge club!”

    Expect replace bridge with blog.

    Seriously. Shame on you!

I don’t even know how to respond to that.

    Exactly.

I think that until the Democrats get rid of a former Grand Wizard who is in the Senate, they should keep their mouths shut.

Also, whether or not Forrest said this, the comment itself has nothing to do with the clan/racism/confederacy. It is a statement of a military tactics not about anything nefarious. I am sure there a lot of phrases and sayings that can be traced back to people who were less than admirable, are we going to punish them for it?
